I just bought a two year old Fiesta. It was only serviced AFTER it had done 18,000 miles - 18,679 actually. I can find anywhere whether the 3 year manufacturers warranty is still valid. Please could somebody help? I'd like some definitive guarantee otherwise I'm sending it straight back to Motorpoint!

2 years or 18k is the schedule depending on the engine/year.

Does that mean that Ford won't honour the 3rd year warranty? I've been told that Ford will be flexible about an extra 1000 miles on the clock but I think that's car salesman speak

Warranty still valid as long as servicing is done with 1000 miles or 1 month of when it’s due.

Motorpoint are sending me one. They have said it will be stamped with a service done on a certain date (well within the two years) at 18679 miles "on their system" but it doesn't seem that they know who conducted it. Only that it's a tick box on their system.
