Battery Terminal Cover/Fuse Box Cover Replacement(2010, MK7)

Featured Replies

The red cover over the positive terminal has snapped at the hinge. Currently stays on the terminal is it worth replacing if so?

If I were to replace it does anyone have a guide on how to remove the cover from the battery terminal fully to put the new one on please?

For reference I am 99% sure at this stage the part is this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393395578169

Pull it off and plonk the new one on. 👍

It just slides upwards.  Will be stiff if it's never been removed before.

As to whether it's worth replacing, I'd say no if it's still functioning ok.
