just thought id say hi. Have just joined this site so am woring my way round it slowly.

Im Alex, 25 from Blackpool area.

Have recently finnished a 2 year restoration of my 79 RS2000Custom.

Spec is....

Black-full respray inside, outside, underneath.

Full corrosion protection

2 doorskins and a suppprisingly very little welding.

Standard interior appart from a 6point cage, painted body colour to be discreet,

TRS 4point harnesses

Lowered on capri billies up front, 2 inch blocks at rear

5 speed type 9 box rebuilt

battery in dasboot!

strut brace welded in up front

original engine bored to 2.1- acid dipped and painted

oversized pistons

lightened and balanced fly and crank

kent cam

skimmed block raising compression

high torque starter

MASSIVE valves in the head, ported and polished

Blah Blah Blah...........

Anyways, ill try to get some pics up so you can all have a gander. sooooo much fun!!!!
