Ford Fiesta display temperature reaches the 5th square

Featured Replies

The display temperature of my ford fiesta 2016 reaches 5th square while running in traffic while heater is on (only for a couple of minutes), it also happened when running in trafic for 5-10 minutes after running in high speed for about 15 minutes. I checked the thermostat and it seems like it works correctly.

I want to know if it is normal for the car to show the fifth square, specially in these cases?

My 2014 ford fiesta has never reached 5 bars. Always settles at 4. I have my aircon and heater on auto set at 22-25 depending on how cold it is and never had it reach 5 bars. In fact during the cold snap a few months back my car struggled to reach 4 bars and if I had my heater on max I swear sometimes I'd lose a bar because of it lol.
