RyboNashy02
Hi... yes... me again! Wondering what kind of exhaust system would best suit my car? Pretty quiet atm and I'd like to make it a fair bit louder! Been looking at Hornet as a viable option but I dont know if there are other companies that are better? Do I go for a full exhaust swap or start with the resonator? Thanks!
TomsFocus
If you just want noise the Hornet is fine. But they drone badly, particularly while cruising at speed. I prefer Milltek myself but have had a few different brands over the years.
RyboNashy02
I commute quite far on a daily basis, so the drone would tick me off fairly quickly. Would i get away with doing the resonator only or would you recommend the full kit? Is it lightweight? Do they keep a steady flow and not back up fumes? 🙂

I'd say you're probably better off just trying a backbox first to see how you get on with that.

There are bigger power limitations than the cat there.

A sports cat is only really necessary when chasing power. I wouldn't go to the expense of one when you're only really going to increase noise on this engine.

I cant tell as its right in the middle of them both Could be either as there were still a few Mk6s being registered that late. They look totally different though so easy to tell visually. The Mk6 is very square, whereas the Mk7 is very rounded. Mk6 Mk7
