Be looking at a friends SMax as its coming up with different faults such as, replace battery in key fob, battery low, steering malfunction, sometimes it wont start, wont switch off, cant lock it, seats doing there own thing, this was yesterday so i disconnected the battery for 5 mins and it all cleared for a short period so i did it again and today just have the steering malfunction on on the display but no error codes when i plug my diag in? I did think maybe the battery is on the way out but after I disconnected it yesterday it started fine. Car starts and drives ok today but i did notice that when you lock it the steering malfunction stays on? The main problems tend to be the steering malfunction and key fob. TIA Nigel.
