Hiya, our Ford fiesta lost all power on the road a few days ago. Managed to limb it home. 

Thought it was the plugs or coil as it was sounding that way. 

Checked the plugs and was only getting a poor spark on 2 & 3.

Ordered a coil and new plugs as seen one of the plugs had cracked. 

 

Changed all out and went to start and still getting no where. After turning over with the accelerater fully compressed it may start and run for a few seconds. Basically only firing on cylinders 2 & 3.

 

Took a chance and changed leads also but still no joy. 

 

New spark plugs, leads and coil and its no better. Poor spark on 2 & 3. Plugs 1 & 4 nothing. 

 

Anyone shed any light on what it may be and my next port of call. 

 

Any help appreciated.
