fryboi
right, I've had a sub fitted for a while now and all of a sudden it has started cutting out randomly and then turning back on. I originally thought that it might be the remote cable but then saw the power light stayed on whilst the sub was "off" I thought it might be a bad ground. does anyone know what it could be ? or a good grounding point in the boot ? cheers ,adam :D

stef123
i cant comment specifically on the mk7 but usually the best point is where the lights are earthed or one of the seatbelt mounts. give it a little rub with some sand paper or a file just to make sure the surface is clean and you shouldnt have any probs.
