Mk7 Zetec-S Mudflaps

Featured Replies

Picked up my white Zetec-S last week, extremely pleased with it! (Well, apart from the electric window controls & seatbelts being way to far back!)

I want to fit mudflaps, from what I've seen I have 3 (identical) options - excluding Kaylan as they're £100!

£59.95 Rally Flapz

£64.95 Performance Creations

£69.99 Team Torquesteer

From what I can see they're all the same product. £60 seems a lot of money for some pvc cut out in this simple shape, before I splash out I just wanted to check I haven't missed anything. Thanks for any advice you can give :)

As far as I know the Performance Creations and Team Torquesteer flaps are the same. The Rally Flapz ones are actually for the 02-08 Fiesta and they don't appear to have any that Fiesta from 08 onwards. I got mine from Performance Creations and i'm very happy with them. Although they can be a bit fiddly to fit, I need to go back and bend the brackets a bit more on the fronts to get them to fit a bit more snuggly.

rocky1722 has a guide to fit them in this topic here. Very useful.

Thanks for your reply, I just went by the title that had mk7 in it as well. So my cheapest option in £64.95? Same price on eBay I see.

The Performance Creations and Torquesteer ones are the same. I personally would highly recommend them however they are fiddly to fit, definately a 2 man job.

You may have seen my post with the Kaylan ones fitted now. These are very good however VERY expensive. :(

What makes the Kaylan ones so good, really not sure I could justify £100 on 4 strips of plastic!

The Kaylan ones look the same as the standard ones but are made of a stiffer material. They sit well on the car with them being stiffer, but yes still a lot of money.
