Hi I'm new on here not sure if I'm posting in the correct place I'm after some advice ive seen on a forum from 2011 I think it was that a alternator from a petrol mk3 mondeo would fit onto a diesel 2.2 mk3 st tdci mine is making a racket at the moment and while I'm changing the tentioners i want to do the clutch pulley mod on the alternator but apparently the alternator from a petrol already has one fitted from factory just wanted to see if anyone knows can I just buy a alternator from the petrol model and put it on the diesel thanks.
