Hi everyone,

I’m new to this forum and so bear with me as I try to get my problem across.

I have a 2004 fiesta 1.4l manual. I have been experiencing a major oil leak which empty’s the oil in the car within 3-4 days.

I replaced the oil filter as oil was dripping down from it but oil still kept pouring down from it. Apon further inspection there seems to be oil leaking from some sort of sensor above the filter. I have attached a few images.

I was wondering if anyone knew what this sensor is and how I can replace it.

That's the oil pressure switch.  Very easy to replace, pull off the single wire, unscrew old switch, screw in new switch, refit wire.

Here's a link to the exact same part, but cheaper aftermarket ones are available.
