dcftm
Hi there, wondering if anyone has any experience of removing / replacing indicator stalk in a mk8 fiesta, 2019 ST Line. The indicator isn't remaining on once applied or is self cancelling too early, something is sticking or broken so needs to be changed. The parts are easily available but I read somewhere that it may need pairing to my car ? Is this the case or can a new part be plugged straight in ? Any advice is much appreciated 😊
Danny cj
I've done a mk7 2009. Took 5 mins with no tools required. ( if it's the same) Unclipped top of steering cowl under there you will see a white clip to lift up stork..unplug cluster then reverse to refit
dcftm
Thanks Danny, I've looked at videos of mk 7 and previous, it looks very simple. Unfortunately the mk8 is different, it's harder to remove the indicator stalk once the cowl is removed. As usual car companies making simple jobs harder for the DIYer to complete 😕
