zetec se 1.4 no power after 5000rpm

Featured Replies

My fiesta has 1.4 zetec se with Kent fz1411 cams, steve wyndham racing 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and cold air intake.
Plugs have been changed recently and fuel filter not long ago. So I was wondering what could be the reason for the car feeling like it has no power after 5000rpm, 4000-5000 it feels like it goes superwell after those mods but after 5000rpm it feels like theres no power. Stock powerpeak should be at 5700 so it should not be that the engine doesnt naturally have power up. Could it be that it doesnt have enough fuel at those revs? (dont thinks so because 1.4has same fuel system as 1.6, and 1.6 fuel system should be good up to 200hp) Stock intake manifold restricting airflow after 5000rpm?
