HELP NEEDED!!

Featured Replies

Hi all, I've got a 2010 1.6 tdci focus estate, I haven't got window wipers or heater blowers.

I've been told it's likely to be the bcm.

My question is, what is the important part number to match

check the fuses first

Fuses have been checked, wiper motor been changed and the wiper control arm.

try FORscan see if it shows any errors or you need to enable anything

While it is possible that the BCM may be at fault, it is an expensive thing to be just guessing at.

First use FORScan and a good connect lead like the vLinker FS

Read the DTC's which there are sure to be some.

If you check the BCM connectors and find water ingress then it is likely the BCM will need replaced. The part number will have to match, except for the last letter which can be the same or higher.

The replacement BCM will need programming using FORScan to load the "AsBuilt" files.
