MK7 Fiesta driver seat height adjustment

Hi all

I've just bought this Fiesta and the lever to the right of the driver seat will only allow me to either raise the level up with one 'pump' of the lever, or press it forward to reset it down in height. It seems to be jammed. Like other cars I have had in the past I thought there would be several pumps/heights?

The plastic cover to the lever can come loose but doesn't appear to be related. I can't find anything on the net to help, just help with sorting the issue of putting the back of the chair backwards and forwards! Any advice on a fix?

    Thanks but this just tells me how to operate the seats. I know this the seat only adjusts in height one pump of the lever. Up and then down again. After one pump up in height it will not adjust any further. All I can do is let it go back down one level. Surely this is broken?
