Fix the "base" shifter cover

Featured Replies

Hello,

Sorry, but even in my native language, I don't know how this part is called.

Since I bought this second-hand car, I have this "base plastic cover" that won't be fixed into its support. I saw some sort of plastic crews, I try to push them hard, but I still have a little opening, it won't be strongly attached to its support.

Do you have a little tip to fix it, please?
Or, at least, the name of this part so I can look into it in the Internet and, maybe, buy a new one, please?

Thank you in advance for your help! Bye

In English we call the whole thing around the gearstick and handbrake the 'centre console'.

I can't see exactly which part is loose on yours.  Is it this?

I just unclip it in order to take a picture, (clean it a lot since I had a clear access on it) and try to clip it again, but it's still a little loose.

No one has the same issue as me?

It may be that no one can understand what is loose from the information so far, so we do not know what the issue is?

Mmhhh, okay.

The first picture shows you the part that is too loose and won't fit perfectly into its support: the part with the USB port and the 12V port.

The second picture shows you what it does when I pull it out. And when I put it back in its support, it won't perfectly fit into it.

Sorry if I'm not clear enough, I might take a video to show you.
