Ford launch hands-free car in UK...

Featured Replies

Today, Ford got the OK to launch the 1st 'hands-free' car to be used on Britain's main motorways. I am firmly of the opinion that this is a solution to a non existent problem, and fully encapsulates the adage, "just because you can, doesn't mean you should...".

However, there are many of you that can no longer turn on your own wipers, or switch on your own lights without technical intervention, so, what do I know!

I guess you would be shocked, perhaps blown away to know that Japan has had 'hands free' toilets, no need to do anything other than just sit and press either the blue or pink button, for the last 20 years 🤣

Non existent problem? There's plenty on the the roads who can't drive even though they may think so. How many car accidents a year?

The latest ones even offer medical diagnosis after analysing the 'waste' products! LOL

Oh !!

that sounds like a bum job 🤣

Given the amount of accidents that seem to happen during rush hour every morning I don't think it's a bad thing at all.  Perhaps we could have a bit more music on the radio instead of hearing how many roads are closed due to careless drivers.

Although this will initially only be fitted to the Mustang Mach-E...can't imagine there's many of those about in rush hour.

Too busy queuing for a charger. Thought I would beat Stephen to that one.
