MK7 Passenger side rear indicator fault

Hi,

I have a problem with the rear passenger side indicator on my MK7 fiesta. The passenger side indicator started flashing fast so I checked and it appeared that the bulb had gone (rear only, not wing mirror or front). Changed the bulb and the problem persists - no light at all on the rear indicator. I even swapped the bulbs with the driver side one that one that I know works. Any idea what this could be?
