Can Seats From 1997 Fit Into A 2002?

I have seen several 2002 models but all without the leather interior I would like. I have now seen a cheap petrol older galaxy with leather int. Does anyone know if I take the seats out of the 1997 will they fit right in the 2002?.......

Alt if anyone is thinking of selling their Galaxy with a leather int please, please let me know. Its the 2000 - 2006 model we are after, the newer ones are still a little pricey...
