i am a new member ,and not used to forums , never been on one before so bear with me please ,

i have a red deisel ford escort serenade 1.8 td 1996

this my 4th year , it has never really let me down only when the gear ratchet broke , my son fixed it and it s been ok since , i havent driven it for 8 months , and when i got it out garage for mot 10/8/10 this week , it started first time to my surprise , so put battery on charge now, to be safe . it needed brake hose and handbrake parts to pass which my son will do for me mot a mini smashed in the back of me causing mine to be a write off although it didnt do much damage only a dent but her brand new mini` s wing was so crumple up , so after that i feel so safe in my escort,

anyway i love to hear advice and anything to do with the older escorts and will keep on looking on this site thnx
