Fiesta not starting!

Featured Replies

My 2015 1.0 Ecoboost is suddenly not starting - the brake pedal will not depress.

Help - any suggestions??

Hi,

Is it an automatic?  Or is the brake issue separate?

But as the footbrake will not depress nothing happens.

Ok, this means the clutch switch has failed.  The brake pedal will be very firm with the engine off, that's not necessarily a fault.  First thing to try is releasing the handbrake, that should allow more travel on the brake pedal.  (Obviously taking care not to let it roll).
