Auto wipers work with hose but not rain

Hi,

I have 60 plate S-Max and the auto wipers worked fine until I had to have the windscreen replaced, when they stopped working properly.  

 

If I twiddle the sensitivity dial they will swish once, but do not come on at all when it rains, no matter how hard it rains or what sensitivity it is on.

 

I have tested them using a hose and they work with a hose.  

 

I've left it too long to take it back to the windscreen place. 

 

Anyone got any ideas on how I could fix it?

    It might need the adhesive gel pads reseating/replacing. Can you see air bubbles in front of the sensor?
