I have a 66 plate fiesta st line 125 ecoboost.

 

Sometimes, but getting more often. If I shift from 1st to 2nd the gear stick goes stiff until I put it in the centre of the gate.

I can't seem to reliably cause it myself but the general scenario is I'm at lights. When I pull away the stick feels stiff to second, go into third and all fine again .no slipping clutch. All changes are fine when the car isn't in motion,
