Power Take Off For Sat Nav

Featured Replies

Have just taken delivery of a Focus Titanium Siv 5dr Hatchback 2.0 135PS Diesel Automatic with the new Powershift Gearbox. Absolutely brilliant. The automatic gearbox is perfect.

A small niggle I have is that with the Start button replaces the cigarette lighter. Now the only power take off for my Sat Nav (Tom Tom) is inside the centre console/armrest. In my previous Focus (pretty much the same spec) I ran an extension out the side of the console, under the gearbox tunnel, around the fascia by the footwell and up the door frame to the windscreen but I didn't like the idea of wiring going that far. This worked but I wonder if anyone has a better solution.

I am new to this forum and have had a quick unsuccessful search to see if this has been answered before so apologies if it is covered elsewhere
