Rear wiper

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, my daughter has 2007 fiesta, the rear wiper won’t stop unless I pull the fuse, I’ve replaced the motor and control switch, I can’t find the relay, it doesn’t show on any fuse box diagrams I’ve come across, any help is greatly appreciated

GEM issue I'm afraid, probably water/condensation ingress

As Dave has said, this is most probably the GEM. They are known to get water ingress and all kinds of strange stuff happens, like dipped beam headlights not working or staying on, and brake lights with a mind of there own.

They can be replaced with a second hand unit (Brand new is about £800) but it will have to be the exact same part number and they do have to be programmed.
