Ford S-Max 2017 Intermitant ESC warning message

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have had an intermittent message, or series of messages, appear on my dashboard for a while now.  It says that I need to take my car in for an ESC service.  Looking at other forums it seems as though it is probably a faulty front right ABS sensor.  Very hard to get off but relatively easy to put in!  Therefore, I will hook the car up to a code reader tonight to make sure of the fault and then, if it is the sensor, purchase one and try to fit it.

My question is, what is the part number?  I have searched the ford parts website and many other places but cannot seem to find a part number to order.  I read in one forum that it has to be genuine Ford but unsure if that is correct.

Thanks for any advice!
