    On a recent episode of Wheeler Dealers, thay had a cable custom made for a 1970s Toyota Land Cruiser (for a power take off on the factory winch). There is definitely a UK company that can 'make' any type cables, I just can't remember the name of it - sorry...

    Yup.  If you can find one that's the same length or a little longer you should be OK. You'll just have a little slack in the engine bay or under the dashboard.

    Thanks everyone sourced one off a one that was being broken. Now looking for Timing Chain Gasket & rocer cover gaskets slight oil leak problem
