The used 2015 Fiesta I just bought today is telling me I have an update available for Sync

The website says update from 5.5 to 5.10 is available but the only option it gives is to book a service.

 

Any other ways to get it updated?

    Your system should have an SD card in a slot that can be ejected. What version is on that ?

    If you scroll through it will tell you in settings. It is possibly Sync1.1

    OR

    use the Ford website and it will tell you:

    The latest available for Sync1.0 is MFD2022

    It doesn't have one

    I guess it's just a basic stereo with no real need to update

    I hope you managed to get it from Fords site.

    I downloaded mine two days ago, though tried to update and 2 hours later, still hadnt completed.

    If you do get it, make sure the USB is formatted at FAT32 , otherwise the drive wont be recognised
