I know their were issues with this problem in 2018-2020 after seeing it on this site.I bought a Brand new Fiesta Titanium X in November 2022 unfortnately my Sat nav has stopped working with screen saying no GPS.My Ford dealer changed the APIM as they said this was at fault,the car now thinks it's in Cologne where module was made & tested & is still saying no GPS on screen.They contacted Ford Technical they suggested a wiring check car is now booked in again for this check.Just wondered if anyone else is having this problem 5 years after it reared it's head.

    No problems mentioned here about Sync. All updates are working fine and install first time every time. No errors with files or map updates, you must be unlucky 🤣

    Seriously just use the search facility (it not fantastic) and search 'Sync' and that should get you over 9000 concerns, issues and problems.

    Sorry to hijack thread, but am just curious, do Ford use a proprietary ready made system like 'Garmin' or 'TomTom' to provide their GPS system or is it Ford specific? I only ask as for 20 odd years I have used standalone Garmin units, and have never suffered one single error (and I'm on my second unit) even after numerous updates...

    The Maps come from a company called HERE Technologies. I'm not sure about the Sync System itself, but that might be a Ford 'thing'. I expect Alex will know.
