Low battery sound

Featured Replies

Hi lovely Ford people 🤪

Just a general question, by any chance does Ford make a low bing sort of sound when the battery is low??  Noticed the same 'bing' when i had a Fusion & now Fiesta, I thought it was something to do with going over rough ground & bumps, but discounted that as it did it when driving normal too.  Then thought maybe loose connection in stereo, but I replaced the stereo in me Fusion & it still did it, & noticed it in me Fiesta too.

So I'm either completely nuts or it is actually a thing with Ford's??

Not sure about the low battery bing noise, however I would suggest you look at changing your battery at some point soon,if as your profile suggests you own a 2016 fiesta and if the battery hasn't already been changed implies your battery is 7 years old, which in any case is well passed its best

I've not heard it when the battery is low, only when the fuel is down to half a bar.
