Why is a 2011 plate 240bhp and a 2010 is 200bhp????

    If they're both 2.0 EcoBoost then the 240 is probably a Titanium X Sport.  The 200 would be a lower spec.

    No there both a titanium x sport I've been looking on autotrader for one and notice all the 10/60 plates are all 203bhp but the 11plates are 240bhp ???  So I'm a bit Sceptical on what's the difference before I buy one

    Just different mapping as far as I know.  It's the same engine as the Mk3 Focus ST as well, which was 250bhp.

    Max, it is purely the mapping - the 203 can be upgraded to 240 by most mappers.

    It is the Mk4.5 (facelift model) that is 240 and you have to watch the dealers adverts as some 200 ps (non facelift) were registered late (same year as the facelift models)

    I had my Mk4.5 11 plate fully kitted Titanium X Sport for over 4 years and absolutely loved it
