WA6 07 Front Grill replacement

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Last winter I had an issue with the bonnet release cable and was left with no option other than to cut the front grill to remove the latch and gain access to replace the bonnet cable. I later read you can access this from underneath the car but given it was -15 at the time (I live in Sweden)I  wanted to just get in and out as quickly as possible. 😅

As a result im now left with a gaping hole in the front of my car. I managed to buy a replacement grill from a scrapyard but I literally have no idea how to remove the old grill to clip in the "new" one. It looks fairly straigt forward, clips in it seems but trying toi unclip and remove it is impossible. What am I doing wrong ?
