Hey everyone,

I recently bought a ford fiesta titanium x spec and I just wanted to speak out this problem if anyone else has experienced it.

When I dont have my key fob in possession with me and I go to check the boot is locked, it is locked.

But if I go near boot with the key fob, the boot is unlocked but the rest of the car is locked. Is it supposed to do that with the design of the car or do I need to replace the battery in the key fob or change the lock in the boot itself?

Any suggestions would be amazing!

    Yes, that's normal operation.  It's so you don't get car jacked while putting your shopping in the boot.

    It’s unlocking because you’ve got the “keyless entry” keyfob with you and you’ve pressed the button on the boot lid.
