Problem with Bluetooth after 3.4.22200 Update

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just updated to 3.4.22200 and now Sync doesn't see my Samsung S21fe and my phone doesn't see "Ford Fiesta"

I can't delete phone from Sync etc.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

JC

Going to try this a.m.

All I was told, was to do a soft reset, press volume button on the radio and fast forward at the same time for about 5 seconds, this reboots the system, this worked till the APIM failed.

So, on the second attempt of Master Reset it worked!

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't have to resort to the battery negative strap!

However, funny thing is, this all started so I could update to the latest maps and had to update to the latest Sync first. My Ford account then made the latest map update available and, after 2 hours of downloading and unpacking, I went on an 1 1/2hour journey but it still said "software updating" and I had no choice but to turn the damn thing off! Suspecting this would cause no end of problems I was surprised when this morning it seemed okay.

I checked the update versions etc. And it said Maps F11! Isn't that the latest maps?!

Now I don't really know what I've got installed! But, I'll probably just let sleeping dogs lie!

What do you think?

I had the same problem with the 10 map  update, I'd just leave it and see how it performs, 1 and half hours to update, isn't on in my opinion. I know how you feel driving round.

It is supposed to do it over WiFi.

How did you get on. I had the same problem with the Bluetooth not connecting, inability to delete phones. Pulled a few fuses, no luck. Second master reset looks like it might have worked. Will do more testing tomorrow.
