Just got this 59 plate s max, battery was dead, I put some jump leads and got the started, 

I took it round the corner and it stalled, I then put the jumpeads again, after a long start the car started, everytime I take my foot of the accelerator, it cuts out and the battery seems to be dead, if I keep it reved with the leads on it stays started, if I remove me foot from the accelerator with the leads on or off, it cuts out. 

Any suggestions, as it was not the case when I first started the car, it was fine
