Ford sync 3

Featured Replies

A question, in the sync 3 system you have the option to report faults, which go to the Ford data base. It is also supposed to do it automatically if any faults arise, which have.

I've logged around 6 faults successfully manually but on a visit to the Ford dealership I found out nothing was ever sent and not one thing is on record,

The dealership service department checked this for me and found nothing.

So where does this data go?

The reason I'm asking this,  it would have provided proof of the faults before the warranty ran out.

A black hole ???

You could of course ask the Information Commissioner to investigate as Ford are legally required to have systems in place to handle data collected, and are legally required to have an individual who is in charge.

Got it fixed on Friday, Ford contribution was 85%. Even though it did brake before the warranty ran out, I did get vouchers back though.
