Electric Window Issue

Featured Replies

Help needed! I'm sure its been asked a x100 times but the wife's 2006 Fiesta's drivers window has been sluggish for a few weeks but today its stopped working completely, the passengers window has no stopped, don't laugh but it almost sounds like the central locking operates when you push the button?? Any ideas??

Problem might be hardened grease on the runners for the window mechanism, but you might try some silicone spray on the window runners first.

You do have a lot of dismantling to do to acces the mechanism, but if you leave it too long, you might strip the teeth on the drive motor....

Agree with paulkp

Silicone spray on runners to ease binding would be my first choice

Door panel is easy to remove or on window runners without removing panel first to see if it helps
