Faulty Headlight Code:B1D65

Featured Replies

2011 Mondeo Hatchback MK4 Titanium x sport. Currently I have an error message "Headlight Malfunction" displayed. Run Forscan which gives me the code B!D65, which states its R/H Headlamp Swiveling Motor. Wondering whether this can be repaired or will I need a new headlight unit. Unfortunately, the current unit does not have a parts label and any id of what I need. Does anyone know the exact part number for the complete headlight unit in case I need to order a new one as there are quite a few advertised but don't want to buy a one that's not compatible with my car.

VIN WF0EXXGBBEBL18860Thanks

Thanks

Whatever the part number is for the LH headlamp (if that has the label still on) it will be the same except that the base number will be even on the RH headlamp, odd on the LH

the last two letters are the important ones

Thanks, have managed to confirm RH headlight part number. Have it booked into an independent ford garage, who looked at it and found a broken wire to one of the motors. They said they could repair it, will cost far less than having to buy full unit. Fingers crossed

Thanks, have managed to establish that it's a broken wire connection to the motor, had it into an independant ford garage who said it could be repaired. Booked in for Monday, so fingers crossed, dont want to pay for a new or part used unit.
