Ford Fiesta 16 Plate 1.0 Ecoboost broken into.

Featured Replies

My 1.0 16 plate Fiesta was broken into

They failed to steal the car but now when I try and to start the car it says "Key not detected"

They had removed the casing around the steering column. One plug (red and black connector) is hanging loose but I cannot find where it is meant to plugged into.

Any Help much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

It plugs in to the aerial loop that detects the coded key when you put it in the ignition. Check the plastic housing that they removed it may be attached to the cover.

Thanks for help

Unfortunately the transceiver is not in the housing.

Looks like the scrotes have taken it.

Back to drawing board.

I guess I'll have to try a car locksmith for some prices
