2016 Ford C-Max Intermittent Starting

Hi, I have a 2016 Grand C-Max 1.5 diesel that is starting intermittently. My Mrs dropped the kids off at school this morning and everything was fine until she returned back to the car and it wouldn't start. I jumped in my van and met her where she was stranded, before being able to start the car first turn of the key. Initially, I thought the reason why it didn't start for the Mrs was down to her not engaging the clutch fully, so I explained this to her. I turned the engine on and off a further three times with no issues at all. My Mrs then got in the car, started it up and drove to work with no problems. When the Mrs arrived at work she turned off the engine then realised that she could have parked better, so she went to start the car again to move it but it wouldn't start. My thoughts went straight to it possibly needing a new battery, but when the car starts it doesn't sound like it's struggling to turn over. Has anyone else experienced this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
