When Ford used a little joystick on the dash to control the speakers bias?

I've had ten Fords over 60 years and worked on Ford fleet cars for 16 yrs, but I've never seen one of those.

Yes I can remember them. My mother had a Fiesta Cayman (Mk4 I think) with the joystick. Around the same time I had an Orion with the factory fitted graphic equallizer that had a mini ball joystick built in.

Were any of those mk3 escorts, mk4 escort, mk1 Orion’s, mk2 Orions, mk2 fiestas, mk1 sierras, mk2 granadas?

I'd forgotten about those! Never had a car with one, but I used to get to drive a lot of cars when involved with fleet buying, so have seen the odd one in Sierras and Granadas. My directors tended to have Granadas so I used to give them a thorough test drive and check out before handing them over (well, that's my story, anyway!)

Dad's D reg Orion had that, or was it the H reg Orion Equipe, can't remember.
