Hi All

I need to change the gearbox fluid in my 2017 Galaxy.

Euro Car Parts have it at £20 / Litre but I need 7 litres, wondering if its posible to buy cheaper?

    Some of ECP prices are an absolute rip off. See the CTEK battery charger as a prime example.

    I only use genuine powershift oil and filter from main dealer as it is an important unit.

    Alternatively try e bay or Opie oils in Cornwall who are very good https://www.opieoils.co.uk/

    Hi All

    I bought Mannol branded fluid from eBay in the end. 7Litres for £50.

    I wanted to make sure I had enough so bought an extra 1L from Eurocarparts. £21. I know they discount heavily to the trade and my mechanic could have bought it cheaper, but didn't have time.

    In the end I only needed about 6.5l.

    And my mechanic checked the ECP version, siad it wasn't the exact spec Ford had suggested, whereas the Mannol from eBay was.

    Anyway fluid changed successfully. If messy. Original problem remains.

    From memory the powershift gearbox needs its oil changed regularly at 5 year or 37k mile intervals. Also from memory when I took my titanium x sport mondeo for its gearbox service it cost a little over £350 plus I know I got the job done. I believe its a bugger of a job. Well done for doing it.

    You haven't mentioned what it is? Or what gearbox you have fitted?
