Screeching wipers

Featured Replies

After a new windscreen fit my wipers were screeching like a banshee🥴....cleaned screen and wipers  with hot  soapy water but still u/s, son -in - law then cleaned the blades with WD40 and bingo, no screeching, useful tip .

Have you washed the blades & tried again ? I suspect the noise will come back shortly.

We had a new screen fitted in our old Pug 405, the juddering & noise was unreal, even the window fitters couldn't sort it out, they even fitted new blades to no avail' .... One chap said it's because the glass is brand new, he suggested thoroughly cleaning the top layer of glass off, none of it helped, eventually over a year the noise subsided.
