Symbols on dashboard

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have just bought a ford fiesta st line 2021. I have came upon a few symbols that don't seem to be in the online manual. One is like a capital Y with arrow heads on the top 2 points and another is a arrow pointing up with the body of the arrow similar to a Z shape. I'm guessing it's to do with the drive assist  but not sure. Could someone point me in the direction of where I can read what these symbols mean.

These weren't in the manual in March 2021 when I got mine.  Surprised they're still not in the manual now.

They're just economy suggestions.  The Y shape suggests a junction coming up, the S suggests an S bend.

Thanks TomsFocus , I'm very surprised they are not in the book, very poor. Can you turn this feature off as it is very annoying.

I don't think they can be turned off.  Might be worth scrolling through the 'Driver Assist' menu to double check though.

Are these the symbols that go with the grey/green foot on the pedal. If so I turned my Kuga ones off unticking ‘eco advice in the menu/display/eco something on the steering wheel menu.

Hello all, just to confirm if it is of any interest to anyone.  On the settings menu under driver assist, there is a sub menu with a setting called eco coach, by clicking on this and ticking the box it deactivates the ànoying Road symbols and the foot on the gas pedal. Thanks for the tips.

If only there was a way to remove the gearshift advice for the manual transmission.
Does anyone know?

Upshift arrows are part of legislation, those ones can't be removed.
