Just purchased a new ford puma 2022 version and it seems the sat nav section is missing on my infotainment panel homepage. And its also version 2.5 (expecting 3). Any suggestions? Had a quick search on google and unable to find out whats causing it.

All the documents inside the car states Sync 3.

Is the literature wrong or something?

Not all Puma's have Sync 3.0 some only have the cut back version of 2.5

Usb cable and android auto, Google maps or Waze. . Be better than the standard sat nav

So miss sold the car and miss printed paper work inside?

Its defo not the design line. Website also said Sync 3. Both fords and the dealer. So I assume this is just how ford and its dealers operate?

What spec of puma do you have. Does sound like miss sold. Maybe by accident, maybe not. Which website said sync 3?

The ford website and the dealers website both mentioned Sync 3.

Upon checking other car review websites it does state Sync 3 for my model with satnav. I have a Sync 3 Quick start guide etc in the glovebox as well.

ST line 2022 version 135bhp. None of the paper work or order information mentions Design 2.0 either. If you go spec a ford puma ST line on the website it states "Ford SYNC 3 Navigation with 8'' touchscreen, DAB radio, Emergency Assistance, Apple Carplay & Android Auto, 6 speakers plus FordPass Connect"

If the software versions reported by the in car display only say Sync 2.5 though, then there won’t be any nav.

Could have been a fault with the sync when new and wrong replacement fitted?
