    For all Ford vehicles 2013 onwards the use of vLinker FS is recommended by FORScan. It will of course be suitable for older vehicles.

    For those that still prefer to use an ELM327 lead on pre-2013 vehicles TunnelRat Electronics do one that works with FORScan.

    vLinker FS works ok on my early 2012 1.0 Ecoboom.

    That's interesting. Forscan recommend the vLinker FS. Yet when I recently bought a new ELM327 with switch and got the Forscan CD latest version for my very late 2015 car it worked flawlessly. 

    Can't understand why spend £35 on a lead when you get the full shooting match off ebay for less than half.

    Got my lead for £23.99 Inc postage off eBay. Genuine boxed and sealed.

    Not had much luck with ELM's. They are a cheaper alternative but I've had two fail in the past, just when I needed them.

    Personal choice of course.
