Grand c Max 1.6 tdci

Ford grand C Max 1.6 tdci 2011 Have just had new injector fitted but now car is missing and down on power. Garage put it on reader and can find nothing wrong, prior to the old injector failing car was running good. Any help would be great

Is it a brand new injector or a used one?  Has it been coded into the ECU?

It is supposed to be new and the garage coded it to the engine. Have been sent another new injector just in case it was faulty but this one was just as bad if not worse. Would not idle at first then when it did would not Rev above 1500, was getting lots of grey smoke then was able to start to rev up but still spluttering

Do the part numbers match?  Sounds like it's the wrong injector.

Perhaps check this thread on the FORScan forum just encase the injectors and cylinder numbers are mixed up.

Grand C Max 1.6 tdci is still spluttering garage as had 2 different people do diagnostic and can't find anything wrong. Changed injector again but still no change.

My other daughters 2012 focus 1.6 tdci just broke down because of injector garage fitted new one but after few days it started to splutter as well change injector again but still spluttering. Both cars doing the same thing and garage can't find anything wrong.

Both cars been of the road for weeks now. Anybody got any other ideas please

Both cars with the same issue after the same garage fitting the same parts can't be a coincidence...

Take it to a better garage.  Ideally a Ford specialist who will have Ford specific diagnostics.

Use a different garage has to be the obvious answer.
