What do you want them to become active with? If it's 'on all the time' when car is running, you need to tap into a, ignition live feed. If you want them to be active only when your lights are active, you need to tap into their supply. Must say though, that if you're caught driving displaying blue light at the front, PC Plod take a very dim view of that...

If you want a durable connection, using a piggy back into the fuse box would be best...

As Stephen has said it would be nice to use a fuse tap to keep things simple and of course you can easily remove it. However on your S-Max 2010 model as far as I remember, almost all of the lights are controlled directly by the GEM and none of the lighting circuits have fuses except the Main Beam (High Beam). Even the low beam (dipped beam) are only fused inside of the GEM, so not accessible.

So can I just connect to a decent ignition live by using piggy back fuse method as the LEDs I have orders has the option for Bluetooth app control on phone
