Capless fuel filler

Hi. The capless filler neck is locked shut. I used a jerry can to put fuel in, now it's locked shut. How do I reset it. Thanks.

    It's a diesel. But I've sorted it. Silly me, I'd used a jerry can, which locked it. I went to a filling station and tried the correct nozzle, and it worked. Thanks anyway.

    Pleased you are sorted.

    You should only use the correct Ford plastic funnel for refueling from a can, or there is a risk that the fuel filler flap will jam and remain locked.
