Good Day, trying to locate a engine overhaul kit with pistons, valves and all gaskets etc to rebuild a 1.6 petrol engine in a 2006 hatchback., anyone can point me to a supplier? Apologize beforehand if am breaking any rules. Thanks.

    It may be cheaper to source a decent condition, complete, used engine

    Am actually in Jamaica where not much of these are available locally, we seemed to have moved to more Japanese models apart from the German brands. , trying to find it online but no luck. Some on the US Ebay site but for 2.0l and larger, only seeing gasket sets on the UK ebay site.

    The 1.6 Zetec-SE tends to be quite reliable so we don't get many stories of them going bang over here.

    For info, from the same period, in UK/Europe, that engine was fitted to Fiesta, Fusion (EU), Focus, Focus C-Max, if you got any of those over there
